Children’s books are put under so much pressure.

This is a conversation that I have been wanting to have with everyone for awhile now, I believe myself to be an observational person - seeing people’s word choices and reviews to not only mine, but in fact other books. Children’s books have a lot of pressure put on them, and sometimes it is an unreasonable amount.

I acknowledge and honour the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains and their land on which we work and connect. I pay respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging. I recognise and respect their relationship with the land and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
